Voicing a TV Advert

I think it’s fair to say that TV adverts are no longer just big budget, massive productions that only the big brands can afford. With the advent of Sky AdSmart, smaller businesses now have the chance to promote their businesses on TV using targeted campaigns that reach a smaller, but more focused audience.

One of my regular clients is an agency that produces TV adverts for smaller businesses and I have provided the voice to a number of their clients adverts, including this one for Haytor View.

Haytor View offers residential park homes in the South West of England and, as such, had a targeted campaign that was shown on the Sky TV accounts of their chosen demographic.

I recorded the approved script remotely in my studio and then sent the high-quality audio files to the agency to add to the advert’s visuals. There were no pick ups (retakes) required and the advert went on the air throughout the Spring and Summer of 2024. Haytor View also added the advert to their YouTube channel to get even more views.
